
37 rows and 80 columns were optimal for taking up exactly 1/2 of the 1366×768 display of my screen.

“baud=9600” sets the Bits per second to 9600, “port=3” sets the COM port to COM3 (you may need to check in your Device Manager to find out what port your USB-to-serial dongle is set to), “display=1” sets the display to ANSI, “rows=xx” and “cols=yy” is how many Rows and Columns of text you want your display preset to. To make things a little easier to access RealTerm with the appropriate configuration settings, I made a shortcut to RealTerm on my desktop and used the following “Target” (found in the shortcut -> Properties)
